Prolly Gibbs but Ran is def better at rapping.
Past few years ransom been killing it
I don’t care about the shyt outside of the booth. Ran has been consistent but Gibbs Catalog has MUCH higher highs and virtually no lows. A lot of Ran’s music is just interchangeable. I’d like to hear him over an entire Alchemist or Madlib produced project.
I preferred early Ran when he had more energy in his flow and delivery. He's a better lyricist now but his beat selection and energy doesn't have replay value for me.
Gibbs catalog is heavier but Ransom is a really good MC. There was some interview with Ransom where he was dissing “Lyrical, miracle, spiritual” type rappers.I’m like “nikka, you ARE that type rapper”.

Because he obviously doesn’t suck. The only people who would say anything negative about Gibbs or Ran’s skills haven't actually listened to them.
