I don't hate Jason Bourne, but after the anticipation of Damon returning to the role, it just felt so uninspired and forgettable. The first three change rankings for me whenever I watch them. Top 5 trilogy right chea. Legacy wasn't bad, but Jason Bourne is this franchise. But I appreciate it for developing the Bourne world even more and the action was almost on par with the first three

I rank them this way:

Supremacy: Objectively, this is the best movie. It's coming really close to supplanting Identity. Reminds me of The Two Towers and Spider-Man: Far From Home: both sequels that I think are the best in their "trilogies" and are very close to becoming my favorite over the originals.

Identity: The original and my favorite. Like Fellowship of the Ring and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Ultimatum: Won 3 Oscars and loved by critics. It's the Return of the King of the series, which wasn't my favorite in Lord of the Rings either. I could also call it the No Way Home of the series: most critically acclaimed of the series but still not my favorite.

Legacy: Gets a bad rap but it's still good. I'd like to see another movie with Renner. He was good in the role and he has the physicality and coordination that is necessary for the role. He's really renowned for his stunt work, if you've seen Hawkeye and how the Marvel people talked about how impressed they were with him in that regard.

Jason Bourne: A "poor" Bourne movie. The only Bourne movie to not get . It's like the A Good Day to Die Hard of the series: a "competent" (AGDTDH was mid but still) action movie but not a "good" Die Hard / Bourne movie.
