It's ridiculously bad at this point. Dude is the second coming of Kevin Love in Minnesota the way he eschews any sort of good defensive position in order to grab more boards. Likewise he just bites on everything which leads to him looking silly trying to chase a big rejection.
He's miles away from being even average defensively, despite him having the tools to be at least competent.
Redikk is unconscious, dude is just firing everything up and it's going in.
It's even more confusing because he's such a smart kid, yet when he gets out on the court he's brain dead on the defensive end.
I'm probably being generous saying he has the tools to be a good defender, because his fundamentals and instincts are terrible. Awful footwork leads to him being off-balance and unable to contest, and he has no ability to anticipate anything coming his way. Shame because he's a huge talent but in terms of impact on the court, it's basically negated due to his awful defense.
