Martin will have stitches removed next week and will begin to move his hand and start rehab.

In the meantime, Martin met with rookie swingman Andrew Wiggins on Friday morning. Without Martin's 20.4 points per game in the lineup, his message was it would be better for Wiggins to go 3-for-20 shooting from the field than 4 for 8.

"I would like him to go 12 for 20," coach Flip Saunders said. "Let's not set the bar too low. What (Martin's) trying to say is it's an opportunity to be aggressive. It's an opportunity for all our young players."
