ok bro. here's a breakdown:
1. I'm jealous. this is so sonically pleasing. would love a PM of how you got the atmosphere of the jazz room so smooth. Love the beat pattern and tempo. Some patterns just match the tempo perf and you did. This HAS to be the best track... but i'm only on the first one. Followed
2. This shyt made me envision a dark room, bath with a chick from the 70s and a glass of wine. meanwhile i'm sitting at my beat desk, acting like i'm making this hot flames that is coming out of the yamaha HS 8s. She is immediately attracted to the shakers and the violin strings. Then it ended UGH... Need more
3. You switched it up here for sure. Respect that. Had a real swingy delay popping and I think it's cool. The bass was filtered well. I think it could have been slightly more catchy if the bass sounded more melodic... like... it needs just a little bit more saturation/upper/mid harmonics so i can truly groove with it when it hits.. but it has a nice effect and the next track basically jumped out of the speakers...
4. Love the panning of the lead... love the complexity of the bass line (but not too much to distract me, but perfect to keep my attention if i focus on either, counter point son). Such smooth drum work here.
5. Least favorite so far. This one needs a rapper and it would be golden. it's the "missing element". That hat might be a little too loud... but it works to keep my head nodding. Man the kick sounds panned... i'm starting to think i'm having phasing issues with my monitors at the moment tho.
6. Kick also sounds panned... i had to check my monitor settings.. you got reverb on that? i'm tripping lol. This one isn't as full as the others but the chop is nice. although it will take away the effect, i wish maybe the chops had a little attack/release to smooth them
7. Ok bro this is a banger. I wish i could rap or I would spit on this.
8. ok this is more my style of production lately going for a lofi sound. digging heavy low pass(especially how it's not applied to the drums as much, with a different cut off for your sample), cracklin snappin, the drums have a nice rhthym too. I prolly would have fukked up and made the tempo slower, but it's just because we have different styles. I might just steal some of your ideas tho cus you got it going on. hope you take that as a sign of respect.
