Rae & Ghost making an announcement at Sundance Film Festival

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are headed to Utah for the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The two legendary NYC emcees will appear at the Independent Film Maker’s Lounge event on January 24 to make an announcement about an upcoming film project.

The 5th annual Indie Lounge will feature film screenings, junkets, comedy, and live music during its four-day run. Rae and Ghost will be on hand Saturday at the “#PurpleCarpet Screening” for a special sneak peek of their movie being released later this year. There will also be a Q&A session, cocktails, and branded activations.

“We are honored to see so many famous, creative and adoring people visit our Lounge each year. Meet everyone, because you never know the opportunity of the person standing next to you,” said Independent Filmmaker’s Lounge owner Daniel Thompson in a statement.

After time is illmatic, I'm looking forward to any documentary on the making of classic joints. Wu as a collective missed the boat with 36 chambers although one could argue they've had several documentaries on them already and the making of that album has been told ad nauseum. Even jay kinda already did it with VH1 for reasonable doubt. Ghost should do one for Iron Man after this.

I can't remember what wu doc i watched a long time ago but it was awesome. what I remember most is just how grimy, raw and outspoken the wu was. Rae was doing a photoshoot with a full gold grill in his mouth and was going OFF on the camera man about how the picture he took was shyt

I'm not sure, I just searched on youtube and couldn't find the one I watched. I just watched it once randomly like 5 years ago when I was smoking at a friends house but that scene in particular stuck with me cuz rae was fukking hilarious, I love how they all speak whatever is on their mind. They looked bummy cuz they were all still broke as fukk but they were so hungry to make something of themselves.

Breh if you find that please let me know cause I want to see that. My favorite moments of Wu was seeing them on the show. so much fukkery in japan. I saw time is illmatic in the theater packed full of Nas fans and he performed after the movie.

I've only seen Nas live once at Rock The Bells, but I've seen the Wu like 3 or 4 times and Red and Meth twice

I just think the members are so much more independent now, they all want to do their own thing and control the direction of the music themselves, and obviously RZA is used to controlling everything, I agree I guarantee you they get along on a personal level and love eachother.
