DC is off to late start film universe wise, she's going to be waiting a long time (late 2010's-2020's) if an opening is available for her. And even then, by that time, DC might decide to pass her over go with some younger, more popular actress who is more relevant in that time frame instead (such actresses are always right around the corner, that's how Hollywood works).
She's better off being pragmatic and just taking whatever roles are being offered to her right now.
