we lost another one of our Coli brehs y'all :mjcry: i was wondering where dude been and discovered that his sister and one of his homies posted that he passed back last July on Twitter

As I approach the 7 month mark of Gerald and mom's passing, I received a few donations from some acquaintances on a hip-hop forum my brother belonged to. He always loved participating in forums as it provided a platform for him to discuss two of his favorite subjects - hip hop and sports.

There was a meme I had seen floating around social media for a while which posed the question - "if you could sit on a park bench for an hour with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?" I never had an answer to that until I lost Gerald...what I wouldn't give to have one last conversation with him, one last hug, or just hear his laugh one last time. I think about him every.single.day. I miss him every.single.day.

his family posted a GoFundMe for his services which were back in August, i'll drop the link if anybody wants to support

On Saturday, June 16th, 2018, our beloved friend, family, partner and amazing woman Doreen lost her only beloved brother Gerald Alan Best. As if this wasn't devastating enough, less than 48 hours later, she lost her mother Kathryn Ann Best. Doreen is still recovering from her father's death last year (June 2, 2017).
The tragic, unexpected and early end to the lives of these two beloved people not only left Doreen with the emotional pain of losing her two remaining immediate family members, but also with the financial burden [of all 3 deaths, all on her own] as well.
While nothing can heal her heart except time and continued support, we wish to raise money to help ease the financial burden and stress in this time of extreme mourning. The funds we raise will go directly to Doreen for final preparation costs and a celebration of their lives.
