who else has done it? and how hard was it? did you find a change in your lifestyle?

I'm thinking of quitting for good. I've tried in the past, but the farthest i've gone is one month. :damn:

I quit smoking it like 7 years ago. I've smoked a few times since then but never like I used to.

I was a heavy weed smoker from 16 to 20 more or less.

It wasn't that hard. I still think about smoking now and then and I dream about it now and then too.

Sometimes I wanna smoke but I've gone without it for so long that I don't feel like starting to smoke again and getting back into old habits.

I did it, friend. I had a card and everything. The herb made me so lazy that when my card expired, i was too lazy to get it renewed. I then had no choice but to stop because i was so accustomed to getting it from the store i was too lazy to find out who had it on the street like some dope fiend. I was happy i did it and ive been without it for a long time now. Very happy actually because sometimes, it would give me headaches and make me feel like my face was saggy.

I have no friends who do drugs which has helped immensely because there is no one around to influence me demonically.

The downside.

I needed a buzz and turned to alcohol but thankfully because i do brazillian jiujitsu i was able to cleanse my liver pretty easily and my last checkup at the Dr. showed my liver is in perfect health which is a good thing. I've since stopped pounding vodka bottles and now have a little wine every now and then. I dont drink beer because it makes me obese and i have to maintain a nice physique for brazillian jiujitsu.

Id say start taking brazillian jiujitsu so you are forced to be on top of your game physically. Hopefully, God willing this keeps you out of the demonic grip of drugs. Good luck, friend.

I've been off it for the past 6 months, I used to be a heavy stoner back in the day.

You're going to have to either want to stop or get bored of it. For me it was the later. I was that kid who always had an eighth on him and would sell it to friends and smoke all day. Basically, I got burned out on it, pun intended or not. I don't want to have to buy it from different people who could flake on me any day of the week, being stoned for no reason and all that. So I just stopped, I'm not off it forever, its just an occasional thing now. You don't have to go cold turkey if you don't want to.

So yeah not that tough, especially if you have responsibilities and shyt to focus on. It helps to have other vices too.

I know a way for me to quit blazing. Prolly won't work for everyone but I know it would work for me. All I'd have to do is vomit while smoking and I'll never touch it again.

I used to LOVE salmon but one time I threw up after eating it (had a virus, not the salmon's fault) and that was it. It's been 10 years since I've had it and just the smell of it makes me feel .

If I ever get to that point when I really, really wanna quit, I'ma hafta make that sacrifice. :whew:

I quit for a couple of months, but started again...Don't smoke as much as I used to though. I found that when I was smoking too much, I was getting very unproductive and going nowhere fast. The only times I'll really quit is if I have a drug test coming up; otherwise unless I can't really afford it, I really have no reason to quit...It's all about moderation.....

I'm thinking of quitting for good. I've tried in the past, but the farthest i've gone is one month. :damn:

Wasn't too hard really, I felt a little weird the first few weeks after I stopped but it was worth it cuz after that I had a lot more energy and I was actually being productive with my time:yeshrug:

In terms of lifestyle changes, I noticed that I had some friends who I was only friends with because I smoked weed. When I quit, I slowly made that realization, and I was like "why was I ever friends with these dudes in the first place?":why: So yeah, if you have stoner buddies you might lose a few friends, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

Good for you breh
