What boxer throughout history in your opinion had the quickest Jab throughout all times
Plus what are some of your guys tips for increasing the speed of your jab and developing that Larry Holmes type of Jab as well
Like jabbing with weights or something else ect

dude's jab was quick, snappy, and powerful. He also could hook and uppercut off of it as well.

Practicing throwing the jab without your elbow going outward (telegraphing it) is prolly the best way to build up that punch. You can add weights to, but I never went over 3lbs.

Form is the most important thing, everything else will come later.

the flicker jab is probably the quickest way to use a jab, it's almost like a back fist in karate but you turn the first just into to delivery a jab

I've never tried it with a weight vest, but I don't think it would hurt. As long as you feel comfortable doing it and it's not too much of an overall strain on yourself where you'd pull a muscle or some shyt.

Practice jabbing while moving to your left in a circular motion ( to your right if your southpaw) and do all the basic footwork drills like lateral movement and pivots.

You'll prolly get a good lil workout doing all that shyt with a weight vest breh. Good luck. :salute:

Never practiced with weights...gonna try that out

Guy that taught me my jab told me it was like shooting a jumpshot. Always keep that elbow tucked in.

cosign of all this..going to 5 lbs is not bad..going any higher may increase injury

best display of bazooka ike going to work with that jab
