Quick ps4 question

I got the official Sony ps3 headset
How can I use it as a mic only and have the sound come out of the tv/sound bar
I tried changing the settings but can't figure it out

You went to the ps4 settings?

On the ps4 home screen go to settings>devices>audio devices

There is a setting 'output to headphones' where you should be able to set it to chat only or some shyt like that

Maybe the shyt that says 'switch output device automatically' set that to off

Yeah. I could set it to chat audio but I want no audio coming out the headset

I don't know about that. Looks like that may not be an option
