Its not 2007. Its 2012 and hes completely bush league.
He sure carried the Rock after he was gassed like 6 mins into their match.
Save me the "it didn't happen" we all saw it, and Meltzer commented on it too. :Jordan:
People do pay attention to Cena's matches. They're rarely boring. He deserves some credit for that; he's not the proverbial broomstick.
He always does his part to keep the crowd entertained and into the match.
This thread feels a lot like one we had a few days ago, but I'll repeat the point I made there anyway: Cena is actually a good worker, because true working is a lot more than technical wrestling ability. True working includes psychology. It is everything a wrestler does to work the crowd, and he is very good at some very important aspects of that. As corny as his character may be.
The fact that he's pretty clearly a good dude in real life is just icing on the cake.
Meltzer is your father. Hes good for stats but match reviews are opinions. Cena had mishap after mishap @WM. Rock did not.
"They know I gotta win, Rock!"![]()
I don't even like Cena, but if you have a kid why not like Cena?
Dude is a positive role model, does a lot for sick children, works his ass off and puts on good matches on a regular basis.
The real question is WHY hate the guy?
Oh so is he my father now when it goes against the Rock? But you quote him all the time when he props the Rock up
And it's not a match review, it's the way the Rock was breathing heavily and was moving like a fukking Walrus minutes in and needed time to catch his breath so he could continue the match. This was not a comment on Ring psychology, move set or selling.
Between the putting him over and making him matter again and the match, Cena's fukking back was broken by the end carrying that roided out fukk.

The Rock has always done slow matches and makes people work his pace. Now youre complaining? Lol...
:
I disagree he has always worked a slow pace, he works a brawling pace like Cena does, and turns it on when he needs to. He was gasping for air, this is no his pace, I think the Rock even commented on it lol.
