He sure carried the Rock after he was gassed like 6 mins into their match.

Save me the "it didn't happen" we all saw it, and Meltzer commented on it too. :Jordan:

Meltzer is your father now? Hes good for stats but match reviews are opinions. Cena had mishap after mishap @WM. Rock did not.

People do pay attention to Cena's matches. They're rarely boring. He deserves some credit for that; he's not the proverbial broomstick.

He always does his part to keep the crowd entertained and into the match.

This thread feels a lot like one we had a few days ago, but I'll repeat the point I made there anyway: Cena is actually a good worker, because true working is a lot more than technical wrestling ability. True working includes psychology. It is everything a wrestler does to work the crowd, and he is very good at some very important aspects of that. As corny as his character may be.

The fact that he's pretty clearly a good dude in real life is just icing on the cake.

Oh so is he my father now when it goes against the Rock? But you quote him all the time when he props the Rock up :rudy:

And it's not a match review, it's the way the Rock was breathing heavily and was moving like a fukking Walrus minutes in and needed time to catch his breath so he could continue the match. This was not a comment on Ring psychology, move set or selling.

Between the putting him over/making him matter again and the match, Cena's fukking back was broken by the end carrying that roided out fukk.

I don't even like Cena, but if you have a kid why not like Cena?

Dude is a positive role model, does a lot for sick children, works his ass off and puts on good matches on a regular basis.

The real question is WHY hate the guy?

Because it's still real to them, damnit. :smugfavre:

Unless the Rock got notes on his wrist. :mjpls:

I don't think I'm a "fan" of anyone starting out in the last 10 years. :yeshrug: Don't hate him but do hate his promos.

People can complain about his moveset, but we all know the specific moves of every maineventer and can see when they are about to happen.

What I say is fact. Numbers never have and never will lie. And when I quote his match reviews of PPV..its to point out and laugh since hes usually bashing the shyt out of them.

The Rock has always done slow matches and makes people work his pace. Now youre complaining? Lol...

Making the Rock matter? U crack fiends are buck wild:laugh:

Its not 2007. Its 2012 and hes completely bush league.

There is just no convincing you, is there? Besides, if that argument had been made in 2007, you'd say the exact same thing like a broken record.

He may have regressed into formula after his injuries, but he was pretty much back to his typical "decent to good, occasionally infuriating" level of working by about 2010. You just hate to admit that he actually knows his way around a ring.

CM Punk didn't work with a corpse in Chicago last year, I'll have you know.

Would you call his Superman comebacks proper psychology or not? (Seriously. I'm tempted to call them anti-psychology in the most positive way possible, but then I remember that nearly every big time worker has SOME comeback sequence. Maybe this just shows something that should've been blatantly obvious to wrestling fans: As much as we hate to admit it, psychology isn't static. Just a thought.)

Other than that, this is pretty much spot on (and, like I said, I quite dislike Cena).

:

I disagree he has always worked a slow pace, he works a brawling pace like Cena does, and turns it on when he needs to. He was gasping for air, this is no his pace, I think the Rock even commented on it lol.

Regressed? He always sucked..hes a fukking garbage worker. Guy is a idiot. In 2007, he takes a right hand, kicks the rope like he's had enough, and steamrolls a motherfukker like its nothing. I shouldnt have to tell you this. You should of known. He gets booed for shyt like this...its been going on since 2005. Get real...

Cena = worst worker of all time. according to some

Rock = GREATEST OF ALL TIME BY GAWD HE KNOWS NO LIMITS!!!

rock comes back to work with the worst of all time cause of a "real life" dispute(which why would you work with someone you dislike) and embraces the guy after the pay per view and makes Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon a helluva amount of money in the process

yea this still sounds real to me

Exactly. Where was he botching over being slow and all of that shyt? Oh yeah...he wasnt. Cena resorted to Blandy like restholds. Why? He cant wrestle back and forth for 30 minutes. Limited worker.
