Was thinking about this after checking out some sites which placed certain albums by KA on their must listen/must own/best album of (insert year album came out)

He has

Iron Works
Grief Pedigree
The Night's Gambit
Dr. Yen Lo - Days With Dr. Yen Lo
Honor Killed The Samurai
Hermit & The Recluse (Animoss & Ka) - Orpheus vs. The Sirens
Ka - Descendants Of Cain
And the Languish Arts and the other album.


So how do y'all rank these from best to mid to "don't even bother"?

Not sure how I would rank them as it's not easy to say what exactly makes one better than the other with Ka albums. But Honor Killed the Samurai is probably my favorite.
The thing is in his music he never really leaves the block he grew up on. He approaches it from different perspectives from Greek mythology to feudal Japan to chess, but only to process the same experiences through a different lens. Which is both extremely impressive as it is dense to the point of claustrophobic.
