Question for Strict Liberals and Strict Conservative?

To the liberals, are you conservative about some things? If so, what?

Same question to conservatives. What are you liberal about?

Im not here to judge, just curious.

Personally, Im pretty liberal, but conservative on guns, marriage, the death penalty, and probably a few other things.

Im liberal on abortion, organic drugs, censorship, and I think a smaller gov is better than a larger gov (dont know of thats lib or con).

Add on, tell me what you think.

I would like to think I take the reasonable side in any topic that comes up. But my views are more Liberal leaning. Perhaps that might change when i have a family but i don't see that happening.

Liberal is a confusing term to put on American politics or western politics in general.

However, to answer your question. I am probably 95% progressive on all the issues

Maybe I'd support a Nuclear power plant as an alternative to coal if it came down to that.

I think America should definately maintain its monopoly on military power. Not have an empire which is what they have now but essentially what I'm saying is a strong military defense which is ready for anything.

Aside from those MAYBE conservative points, outwardly I am 95% progressive.

Inwardly I am a religious person and I have very conservative views on things like abortion, drugs, marriage, homosexuality. The trick here is that I don't want to force those views on people who don't believe what I believe.

I tend to lean left on most issues, but I don't really have a problem with nuclear power, provided that it's done as safely as possible.
