I'm hearing conflicting advise on when to eat after a workout. Originally I read that you should eat immediately to quickly give your body the carbs it needs after. But on the leangains site and also from the fastingtwins youtube, they say if you are fasting still after your workout, you don't have to eat 2-3 hours after even. The fastingtwins say that is when you burn your most fat.

So which one is it?

Man any time I do research on anything I find conflicting opinions when it comes to workput diets and all that workout related shyt.

At this point...if I'm feeling hungry (every 1-2 hours) and I have the $ or food to eat...I eat.

And I eat what I want staying away from junk except for urgers every couple weeks. Might by a bag of chips here...bag of candy there...meal from A&W here etc....

I time my workouts so they are near the end of the fast. But that's easy for me cause I ain't got shyt else to do during the summer.

i thought the idea was to have a small pre-WO meal at the end of your fast, then workout, then eat the largest meal of the day after your workout.

yes but the question is when to eat your post workout meal, right after or waiting a few hours. I'm hearing conflicting advice. Some say to wait a few hours so your body can burn more fat. Others say to eat right away. I'm asking a trainer that specializes in leangains, will let you know if he answers.

take your post workout drink with a 2-1 ratio of carbs to protien

also just eat when your hungry and eat healthy and lift the way you want to look...don't make shyt so complicated for yourself

when you want to cut just have 2 protien shakes a day a small breakfast some fruits and cardio for a few weeks if you want a six pack for some photos
