Y'all just had one of those game where the J's was falling.

You see that from time to time in the NBA.

3 Knicks caught on fire in various segments of the Game.

Vujacic, Melo , and Williams.

I just tuned into the game to watch Devin Booker. He had zero help out there from his teammates. He was the only one who played like they gave a shyt.

I think he can develop into a Steph Curry type shooter

He's a good shooter, but I wouldn't rush to christen him the next Steph. He can be an elite shooter for sure though. This dude's defense is horrendous though.

I know I've been sayin' this all year, but In the 15 games prior to that dumbass ref getting in the way, Melo put up 22, 5 and 8 on 50% from the field. In the 13 games since he took the game off against Memphis, Melo is dropping 24, 4 and 9 on 46% from the field. He's averaging 22, 4 and 8 on the season right now with his FG% starting to move closer to career norms and that's in spite of returning from knee surgery at the start of the season as well as that freak ref incident. I'm not proclaiming that dude is still in his prime, but the narrative that he's finished which has been pushed due to the team's overall success (or lack thereof) is premature as hell. All I'm saying is we better not sell this guy low if we do try to trade him.

Here's an observation about right now I think worth looking for moving forward...the bench is playing inspired ball and playing with pace again for the first time since D-Fish broke that fast break unit up. Grant and D-Will have been on fire lately, KOQ in limited minutes has done well, Galloway bounced back later on in the game last night. They're a fun unit to watch, mostly young cats that have tools which can be developed and they could all potentially be back next year (which is only exciting if they keep this up for more than a handful of games).

Sidenote: Moment of the game for me was a point where Melo grabbed a defensive rebound and waved off the PG, then realized it was Grant and not Calderon, so he decided to pass it to dude for a fast break after all. Grant broke, shot a gap toward the baseline then rewarded Melo with a wide open three pointer.

He's the youngest player in the league, tho. From what I've seen, I think he'll develop into an average to good defensive player.

He's basically carrying the team on offense.Even running point most of the time.So yeah, his focus on the defensive end has slipped some over the last month or so.

He just needs a couple offseasons in the weight room.
