Eh I don't know if I'd want Phil at this point honestly :francis:I'd prefer someone who is openminded enough to know how fast the game is played now and can adapt their system to their personnel

Walton is the only "triangle" dude that would have the fan base go :manny: at the very least. I've heard that he is highly thought of in coaching/executive circles, but then again, all these dudes were somewhat highly thought of at some point, otherwise they wouldn't get the job. The question is how much of an influence he's had in Golden State, and how much was autopilot, and what would happen when he comes over here and the talent level ain't the same.

Shaw/Rambis would cause a revolt, although I don't know if it's enough of a revolt to keep n1ggas from showing up to the Garden.

Yeah, I'm not excited at the prospect of Shaw, but he's a better option than Rambis was my only point. Walton I'd be fine giving a shot; he's gotten enough love that I wouldn't complain and Phil did want him for this staff originally. Thibs is definitely my top guy, Walton is next and then I'd love to go non-triangle guy but realistically I wouldn't be shocked if we wound up settling on Shaw bc Thibs goes somewhere else and Walton picks LA.

Me personally I'm not big on anybody outside of Thibs.

I saw Denver quit on B.Shaw
Walton is in the same boat as D.Fisher
Rambis is Rambis, his win/loss record speaks for itself

This season had so much potential to be a dope one. Hopefully we finish strong and go into the offseason looking like a team that's a couple of moves or acquisitions from being a contender in the east, which I personally think we are.

But how the team lacks quality talent in comparison to the other teams in the league for the most part. It went well for a team that doesn't own it's pick develop the younger players.

Phil looks like he doesn't want to back off of Rambis or Shaw as a choice :francis:

the team's last hope is that Dolan refuses to sign off on either hire, and tells Phil to stop with his buddies and this triangle shyt unless he wants to personally coach.

I can't believe Dolan might be the team's last hope on this.:snoop:

I need Steve to stop making decisions for this franchise, man.

Given what we could be potentially looking at as far as a coaching hire, I wouldn't be too mad at that. Blatt was screwed in that he just happened to be the coach when LeBron decided to come home; that wasn't the team he had signed up to coach. He went to Princeton so I'd assume he would be smart enough to learn from his mistakes the first time around, and stop acting like he's an all time great coach just cause he got busy in Europe and realize the nba is a different animal.

I can't believe I support this.

We could always trade Melo:yeshrug:

:wow: It Was Wroten

Getting Wroten the Philly Tank Commander over chasing Lawson is the type of move you do if you plan to .... idk trade Melo and tank next year

:jbhmm:
Lmaoooo just got a report to my phone that PHIL wants to keep Rambis long termm lmaooo

See thats the type of rumor I would expect if you wanted Melo to waive that NTC:patrice:

Carmelo Anthony Wants Bigger Role In Free Agency, Begins Lobbying For Rondo - RealGM Wiretap

Brehs
:stopitslime:

Melo wants us to give Rondo a long term contract...... That is the top tier FA Melo thinks he can draw to the team
:wtb:

I am aware this is probably his attempt to talk the system up to PG's after its clear the league thinks the triangle isn't for PG's...... but fukking Rondo brehs
:aicmon:

How am I one of the only ones here who see's its time for some fundamental changes in NY. I am tired of these patchwork rosters put around Melo for the sake of chasing a playoff spot. Lets get a young Core now so it can age together. I hope Phil realizes that the knicks strategy of one star and pieces never went the distance.
