Crazy weekend for me and I missed our only damned win in a hot minute. But here's a nice drop...Melo's averages the past 10 games:
24 ppg (45% FG but still not hittin' threes), 9 rpg (9.4 to be exact), 4 apg (4.4 to be exact)

Media's been crazy harsh on dude lately, but his recent play has been really strong.

The idea that he's been a problem is insane to me. You can say the team would be better served trading Melo for assets and trying to do a proper rebuild ( I'd agree honestly )but when you consider that he's playing a good all around game, and doing it within the confines of the system(outside of the occasional iso), the criticism just comes off as unfair. The team has way more pressing issues, like player development, the triangle and it's usage, coaching, and most importantly(to me at least) how Phil handles the coaching position.

Because they'll blame the Afrikan player (even if he's playing well and is coming off a serious injury and having missed 40+ games) before they'll blame the Euro president (even if he's been trash, bringing in players that don't fit his system and still forcing that system on them). That's the racist (not to be confused with prejudiced) NBA.
