Who would have thought they would see the day of Pusha T giving praise to Lil Wayne in a new interview?

While recently talking to Vulture for their “Superlatives” series and to promote his new It’s Always Dry album, Pusha complimented Weezy‘s “Drought” project.

The Clipse rapper said Tunechi‘s “Drought” is “definitely fire” when talking about mixtapes he loved from the 2000s! My guess is that he is talking about Da Drought 3, but what do you think?

Lil Wayne’s Drought sh*t was definitely fire – no hate, no nothing. G-Unit was going crazy. But at no point did I ever feel like anybody had the bars of We Got It 4 Cheap. Serious. We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. 2 smoked everything. The fukking world was fearful of them bars.

Yes it was. First it was that. Then it was the Pharell shyt. Then it was a bunch of other shyt . The root of it all was Wayne was bigger. That birdman song dropped in what 00-01? But dude wasn't going at Wayne until after Tha Carter 2. And he was still going after him even after nikkas stopped fukking with Bape. Yeah that might have been one of his many issues he had with them but the root of it was he felt he was better and hated that Wayne was more successful. The proof is right there in the OP. And the more Wayne ignored him, and didn't share the spotlight, the more that shyt tore him up inside. Aubrey really did fukk up by acknowledging dude. He should've just let him drown in his own misery.
