Psychonauts coming to PS4 this spring




The original Psychonauts is coming to PlayStation 4 this spring, Double Fine Productions announced.

Here’s an overview, via Double Fine:

Psychonauts follows the story of a young psychic named Razputin in his quest to join an elite group of international psychic secret agents, the Psychonauts! He runs away from the circus and breaks into their secret training facility, Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp.

As he begins his training by psychically delving inside the consciousnesses of his tutors and those around him, he realizes all is not as it seems, and soon embarks upon a psychic odyssey through a variety of levels set inside the minds of misfits, monsters, and madmen!

Double Fine did not clarify whether this is an emulated PS2-on-PS4 title or if it is a port of the PC version.

In addition to Psychonauts, a PlayStation VR-exclusive title called [URL='http://gematsu.com/2015/12/psychonauts-rhombus-ruin-announced-playstation-vr']Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is in development, and Psychonauts 2 has been funded for release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.

Beyond good and evil is a classic. They need to bring it to ps4 with achievements

A full HD re-mastered version of the game was released on Xbox Live Arcade in March 2011 and on PlayStation Network in June 2011. It features improved character models and textures, as well as a modified soundtrack. Achievements, trophies and online leaderboards were also added.

Ubisoft released Beyond Good & Evil HD Collection in Europe on September 21, 2012. The collection includes Beyond Good & Evil HD, Outland and From Dust.

Psychonauts PS4 Release Date Announced

Double Fine Productions has given the PlayStation 4 version of Psychonauts a release date.
In the game, a young psychic named Razputin begins his quest to join an elite group of international psychic secret agents known as the Psychonauts! This remastered version of Psychonauts will arrive this Tuesday, June 7th on the PS4.Psychonauts 2 is still expected to arrive Q4 of 2018.
