That's the only reason I'd buy but there's nowhere I feel safe reselling them. I don't have an Amazon seller's account. I wouldn't do Craigslist and eBay is dangerous.

eBay is actually pretty safe for pre-orders that far out. They can't cancel after 45+ days or so.

Just have to make sure you get it lower than average and get that money cleared ASAP. Does ebay release funds to you immediately? If you sell often they usually do.

In this auction, make sure that you tell them that you are sending them the invoice showing their address and ship it in a bubble mailer ($2-$3). That confirms delivery satisfaction in PayPal.

They are already on eBay. Lowest Buy it Now is $799.

If that stays steady, I can dump 3 of my 4 pre-orders and my final cost for my unit will be $62.

With the bundle, the Rift doesn't seem to be as expensive as previously thought. It's only $100 more and you get 2 free games and a controller in their bundle. Now the Vive, that price is bit harder to swallow (pause)

Looking at about $165 profit if sold on eBay for $799. Can you get the shipping address changed on bestbuy.com?

eBay takes 10% of the full value of the final sell. Considering I also have to pay 6% sales tax I'm giving up a lot of the final sell. The 10% FVF and the sales tax I pay come directly out of my profits.

I remember when the PS4 came out and I sold one on eBay. After all the fees and taxes I had to pay my profit wasn't really worth the hassle. I think I made like $40 after all was said and done.

I guess if you sell a few of them it might be worth it but then you still face potential scams and a chargeback.

There is always a risk, just have to be strict. $165 profit each is pretty good for me, just have to strike when it's hot.
