Get the choice between using the player or coach, plays like a RPG. Hm, this could be the replacement of the franchise, if everyone decides to be a coach. You can design the scheme of your team, and it gets fake intricate with twitter updates/backstory of some NFL prospects during the season, EA just seemed to put in more work with this instead of the franchise. I know I'm sick of the broken scouting system on franchise mode, this seems to be the new wave.

In a nutshell, yea. You can play your games though, similar to a franchise mode.
