Reacting to the criticisms regarding his upcoming fight with Jose Luis Castillo, former champion Ruslan Provodnikov said his team attempted to secure three different opponents who rejected high six-figure offers. The fight with Castillo, who many fear will get badly hurt in the contest, will headline a card on Friday night in Moscow, Russia.
"We offered a very good sum to Mauricio Herrera [for a rematch]. He's never earned that kind of money [that was offered], but he turned it down. We also offered good money to Zab Judah. As far as I know, it was a minimum of 500,000 dollars [to Judah]. We even tried to get Shane Mosley [who turned use down]," Provodnikov said.

Try and force 2 washed up fighters to fly over to Russia so you can have their names on your resume brehs
Herrera already beat Provodnikov as well...why would he fly to Russia either when he has the opportunity to fight Benavidez on HBO in Vegas?
