I know people are going to say go wit PT but I already have FL and PT aint cheap so its a big decision:yeshrug:

Protools is great for audio editing, FL Sudio has elevated its game in that department, You can do a lot of things with edison. If you have FL already you can go with that and if you have the wave plugins that works just as well as you can use those on FL studio. However if you want a devoted audio client Pro-Tools is great, but it isn't the Must have king like it used to be for studios.

If you have FL studio I would get really good with that on the audio editing front and then if you feel you just can't do with it, then spend the extra money on pro-tools. However I have friends that run their whole studio session through FL studio now a days.

It depends on what your main objective is

For making beats I'd suggest FL

For laying down songs editing and mixing Protools is the industry standard

fruity is more for making beats
pro tools is more for mixing and engineering

seeing as you mc id say invest in pro tools, the file for fruity isn't even that big so you can run both on your pc if you're really about that life

protools is a lot better for tracking and editing/mixing/mastering. but if you're just doing vocals, fl should be good enough.

but keep in mind - the mic, the room, the interface, etc...that type of stuff is ultimately more important when recording than anything. no matter what you end up using, you want your vox coming into your daw sounding as good as possible.
