Nice work. What software did you use to do the editing? And what did you use to shoot the video? Ever think about using some noise canceling lavalier mics for some of the scenes like in the bar and especially for outside? Or for outside using some ultra-directional mics to pick up street sounds. Then mix the feeds in post. Not sure what your budget was like.

I Give Thanks. The FeedForward is appreciated.

I used final cut X to edit and a mark ii 5d for video. I will be using a shotgun mic in the future.

Peace and Blessings

No prob. All my experience is in Premiere, so I'm not really that familiar with Final Cut, but I'm sure they have an audio mixer that you can mess with like premiere does. When you get that audio recorded and pull it in from the interview and overlay that audio on to the street sounds and its all clear with no wind blowing over the mic, it raises the production level significantly without necessarily raising the production costs. When you get your extra mics you'll be like a kid in a candy store when you're playing with the mix. Once you do that a few times, you're knowledge of how you like to mix sound will determine how you setup your mics and how you record. It's gonna only get better and better.
