Projections for Philip Rivers this season?

He's always been a fantasy beast with yardage, but this stat in the ESPN fantasy issue stuck with me:

Last season, Mike Tolbert and Vincent Jackson had 12 drops in 186 targets. The rest of the Chargers had six drops in 354 targets. Jackson and Tolbert are gone.

Sooo brehs should I take him as my backup to Godgers? Gates is healthy and apparently feeling the best he ever has.

As a Chargers fan, from what I've seen during preseason, I'd tread carefully.

It's all going to depend on how well the o-line holds up. The LT is injured with Gaither not expected to return until week 5 I think.
