Pro tip for moves requiring Triangle and Circle at the same time. Don't press at the same exact time or you'll frustrate yourself by dodging instead of doing the actual move
.Instead, press triangle first, then like .1 sec later press circle. Works every time.

I feel a lot of people's frustration with the parry timing is down to the long animation of Eve.
I was messing about and noticed that the animation from drawing her sword to the block stance takes about a second. You can't parry consistently unless you're already are blocking.
I've been doing it wrong for 9 hours.
