Lost Ones. Allure has a weird melody for my taste.

Also Lost Ones is the only good song off that trash Jay album.

I listen to Allure just for the beat.

If Allure came out right now, it'll still be modern.

Allure was a crazy record at the time. One of the few Neptunes beats from that era that truly aged gracefully

Lost Ones was dope, but almost every Dre record from that "Detox" era sounded the same. Clean, almost too clean mix. That same dry drum pattern with that loud ass snare. Piano was nice, bass was dope. I think Imagine (Snoop, Dre, d'Angelo) was a better version of that beat

2 classic beats from 2 GOAT producers :wow:

gotta agree with @Tetris v2.0 tho, Dre was making a lot of beats around that time that sounded similar — lost ones sounds similar to Imagine from snoop’s album. Allure is instantly recognizable.

Oh and the gunshots from Allure gives it the edge

And I can't explain why I just love to get high
