I always thought those producers were geniuses but also that they had obstacles they had to overcome (lack of equipment, clearing samples) that made them great.

Pharrell, timbo, dre, q-tip all geniuses.

At the time I was using reason and music was a light hobby and this going to seem silly but I saw a young humble kanye doing it no waves in his hair no fancy clothes Jersey tall tee or chains, he was a regular dude (he was making money but he wasn't a character) and I was like " I can invest more time in this and not be a lame" meanwhile cats were getting into drinking and drugs you-gi-oh and pokemon and dancin.

I've not really listened to hip hop avidly for about 10 years plus, I dont even know the new producers lol
I've heard like 3 albums this year and only because they were produced by Bronze Nazareth.

The 1st producer is Skepta, more known know a days as a UK Grime MC but he makes a lot of his beats





The 2nd is made by Danny Weed, another UK producer, legendary in the Grime scene
