Been listening to some :flabbynsick: playlists this weekend. Rockwilder popped up a few times. Got to be one of the more interesting producer discographies.

He got some all timers. A lot of dope deep cuts. And also some of the absolute worst trash you ever heard.

What's weird too is he was a one of the few mid-late 90s NY producers that was dope with keyboard beats, but most his trash also came in this category. But he was also talented flipping samples.

What's the Coli's take?

Loved his beats for Red, Xzibit, Beans, Jay. I do remember him having some really garbage beats too but I can't remember which ones probably cause I never listened to them again.

There are a lot of Rockwilder beats that people aren't aware that he's done. he's been around since the 90s doing tracks on albums for OK and Redman. That's why reading credits was always important. One of my favorite Black Moon tracks he helped produce with the Beatminerz

He had a nice short run as a hot producer....people got tired of the style though. Some producers are hurt by having a very distinctive style. But he definitely had plenty of bangers, plus he had some dope shyt in the mid 90s when he was more akin to Erick Sermon in style.

Rockwilder gave Red some of his best beats…

I think him and Ty Fyffe are underrated NY producers
