This is just another of countless examples. It comes off so flawlessly. This post wasn't even going to be about him. It was about what is your favorites 8 bar verse off the top of your head ( man with the raspy voice I believe it's Big twinzz at the 2:10 mark), but then Prodigy came through and effortlessly put the cherry on top of the song.

Please add your favorite Prodigy verses.

that’s why I laugh at folks that said p wasn’t rhyming . He definitely was he just wasn’t rhyming where you expected him too or wanted to. Most people can’t catch it

Ex:

Ayo, the hood broke my heart into pieces
Dunn the streets took my dreams and shattered them
And turn me into a preacher
Minds to money got me not givin' a fukk.

(Just in those two bars he rhymed/inter-connected rhymed over 50 times ..I don’t really want to break it down, but if you know you know)

Ther awkward flow wasn't really until around Murder Music. Before that this nikka bodied everything he was featured on with that vivid imagery and chilling street macabre descriptiveness that only he could provide. I swear this nikka went to med school the way he could break down how he would destroy parts of your anatomy.

“Left a wet trail, deliver these slugs like air mail
Directly at the cat that made my man blood spill”

“Nitty turn his face to me and let me wake him up
I throw him up against the wall and put a hole in his face so big
It almost took his whole face off
We got the team positioned, ready for face-off”

I made a post on this. He probably has 3 of the top ten verses in hip hop in my opinion (def top 20 verses), and was one of the most sampled voices.

Top of my head “quiet storm”, “shook ones”, “survival of the fittest”, and “hnic”
