I know the book is a decent read not sure if its the same as the documentary.

Since then he had been doing good and had his head on straight. Giving lectures, writing books, speaking to incarcerated youths on Riker's island, traveling the states protesting against perceived injustices and supporting noble causes...etc.


Malcolm X was doing alot worse at that age (minus the fire thing) and he turned out to be an icon
