Need help with a Protools assignment…
So basically I’m trying to figure out how to add this focusrite interface and microphone for a pro tools assignment and so of course, the shyt isn’t working right. No input or output sound but my mac recognizes the device and vice versa… of course it’s fukking pro tools.
Even going through all the AMS and playback engine steps, it’s not working and I’m running out of time. Reached out to instructors, no help at all.
And I will say this… honestly, fukk pro tools. It’s by far the most overly complicated and I kinda feel it’s overrated. Everything is fukking manual and have like 47 shortcut keys to do basic shyt is annoying. Nothing ever working correctly is annoying… literally takes me out of whatever workflow or inspiration I have to even create anything.
Basically, you just can’t sit and do what you want. You always have to fix something or manually input something on this DAW. And motherfukkers spend more time showing you shortcuts instead of completing the assignment.
Basically, it’s like you can never get any real work done. I’ve been at this for hours already with nothing accomplished just trying to fix this shyt. It’s a waste of my time, I literally have until midnight to complete 3 assignments and my family member died this week and have been flying and traveling and have work. This shyt is just trash.
And I literally have to try to find a fukking suit today after flying in THIS MORNING and have to go to a funeral tomorrow morning but I’m stuck dealing with this garbage ass daw.
