Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake might be cancelled

I was gonna say it might be a case of them deciding to not take pre-orders just because the delay was indefinite, but then I remembered we're talking about fukking Gamestop. If they aren't willing to take your money for it, it probably really is dead. 
Scrap it, drop a new entry. It was going to flop. I loved that game back when, but unless there's serious upgrades, it's basic as hell

I never heard about the remake so when I read the first words of the title on the homepage, I got hyped
Then I clicked and saw that it was a cancellation
Then that it's not cancelled altogether
That first game was iconic. Moreso than the gameplay I don't doubt anybody could do justice today, I hope they capture the feel of space and anxiety those large empty buildings and huge towers invoked in my little self

I remember liking the OG ps2 remake them the sequels went all grim dark and lost me lol

Kinda feel bad for the Ubisoft Mumbai or whatever. They got thrown into the deep end
And they’ll prob never get another chance again. They are permanent support studio at this point
