1. Lupe Fiasco "F&L2" - One of my favorite rappers. i think his first 2 albums are classics but was VERY disappointed with lasers. I love the new song he has over the pete rock beat and if the whole album has that kind of vibe i am PSHYCHED!
2. French Montana "Excuse My French" - I dont care what any of you nerds say, French is NICE. he really stepped his bars up recently. In addition to diddy EP the entire album as well as ross's ear for beats...this could be the sleeper album of the year
3. 50 Cent "?" - album drops less than a month, no single no title yet but I believe he will come through with some heat. The lost tape was fire and most of those were OLD tracks. The thing with 50 is he needs some fresh new production.
4. JayZ/Kanye "Watch the Throne 2" - i think they knew what they were doing with the first album and going very commercial. I have a feeling the sequel will be a bit more gutter. Hopefully Kanye can bring out the BP Jay out of him with some soul laced beats
5. Rick Ross "GFID" - ross has come very close but he still does not have that universal Hip hop Classic under his belt. I think he can do it this go around. "So Sophisticated" is one of the best songs out right now and the usher song is nice too. Will he diss jeezy? also being last album on def jam will be very interesting to see if he can finaly deliver a classic. I know he has it in him
