Ok here is how you figure out your one rep max for bench press...bar must touch or graze chest...divide it by your real weight meaning without clothes
Mine for today was max 230/138lbs
So my strength index is 1.67
I don't personally do flat bench i just do incline and never rep to failure but my friend was doing a thesis for his masters and i did a push up test and a one rep max for bench press
I personally would like to be at 1.7 ...I did end up with second highest strength index and most push-ups in study the guy who beat me benched 395 and weighed 220
