What exercises do you guys do to get your quads and calves on point? :steviej:

0) 1 min run - warm it up...
1) Squats - dont be afraid of the squat, learn the technique and use low weight. yes your ego will be hurt for a while.. once you start squating 225 youll be the man dont worry.

2) hamstring machine - you need to work your hamstrings!! most peoples are weak compared to their quads

3) calf raise - lots of weight, up and down slowly on toes.

im 6 foot. 3 185 and hate squats with a passion

bro you were built to squat! wtf man you can be squatting 4 plates easily in 4 months if you start an active squat training routine today.

im not built for it, I'm a slender guy, I don't see how I was built or it... I can power clean like a mufukka tho


There's a reason why I can't dunk :to:
if you got long limbs you were made for it. long muscles, brute power. problem is u probably dont work out ur legs much so they are weaker than the rest of ur body.. legs grow very quickly man but its a rough first month.

:manny: ye but when your telling someone they can get to 225 in 4 months with no prior squat expeience.. thats pretty good gains in that amount of time and they will feel like the man doin that weight which will make them like leg day and in turn workout more.

i know what ur sayin tho :mjpls:

People w/long limbs are not good for squatting

Back squats become a damn good morning for them as they have to lean far as hell to keep the weight in line with their feet

Here is my leg day (once a week)
Goblet squats
Stiff leg deadlifts
Standing calf raises
Leg press
Hammy curls
Quad extensions
Seated calf raises

3 sets of everything. A lot of days I don't do absolutely everything... no need IMO, 25" thighs @ ~14% BF :noah: I need my upper body to catch up and I figure my legs will be sick once I really cut
