Title of the thread is pretty self-explanatory. I'm one of those guys that says cheap jump scares are way too prevalent in horror movies today especially when all the major ones are shown in the fukking trailer how you gon call The Conjuring one of the scariest movies in the past 10 years when I saw every jump scare from a mile away. Good flick though. Jump scares can work but it's always the build up to the jump scare that scares me more than the scare itself. Every jump scare that worked on me usually took place in a setting where you thought it was safe, which leads me to my choice
