If you really want to fantasy speculate, it might have something to do with bringing the Elite guys in as their contracts are up in the new year and it apears they are winding stuff down in RoH. Thats not to say they wont swerve and re-sign but WWE might aslo be looking at that and betting ahead and building a storyline to introduce Kenny Omega now (by having him beat Shane and take the moniker)
