I see this video of Jinder Mahal below and can't help but hate it. In my opinion you don't have to keep kayfabe at all times but when your on social media or the Internet you should be. I didn't say I wouldn't use the work out tips tho :sas2:

Keep kayfabe online for who, though? :dwillhuh:

The neckbeards who already know every aspect of wrestlers' lives or the shrinking casual audience that is turning off their product?

If Vince wrote anything worth a shyt - it might be worth going out of your way for, but as it stands... :ld:

I don't really care either way, but it's kinda ridiculous when you see two wrestlers in a feud chumming it up on Instagram. Then they wonder why their programs can't garner any heat or momentum :beli:

Yeah that's the only thing I feel like they need to maintain it for. If the point is to present an illusion to the fans, those same fans who are on Twitter and Instagram and Facebook, then cats feuding with each other need to not interact on some chummy shyt. You can't draw real heat that way

You can't talk about how wrestling is fake and everybody who follows it is a neckbeard mark and then say that wrestlers should keep kayfabe.

People do that a lot here. :heh: So much cognitive dissonance.

Most of the wrestlers are pretty good with maintaining kayfabe when it comes to posting regular photos with friends. Some exceptions being the Titus photo with Reigns and Strowman and when everyone was wearing the Luke Harper shirts. The Kevin Owens wedding photo wasn't posted on an official wrestler's account.

I can see your point but this video is a TERRIBLE example of someone breaking kayfabe :mjlol:

Dude is just working out alone :dahell: why would that be kayfabe or real life?

I feel like there should at least be a compromise. IMO if they have their kayfabe name as their account name, then they should maintain kayfabe.

If they want to post stuff about real life, they should have a second account with their real name that way it's fair game for whatever they post. Since that probably won't happen, they should at least avoiding taking pics with people they're currently feuding with.

Edit: Also the female superstars are the WORST at maintaining kayfabe, I've seen face girls taking pics with heels of both genders.

We've always known it's fake, constantly telling us isn't a good look though.

Every fan here known it's fake forever, but the art is trying to get people still to believe in the character.

So when you put zero into that effort outside of Raw, Smackdown and a PPV, the character suffers.

Taker is taker because he never had a Twitter account.
