Police are looking for an 11-year-old Mississauga boy who was last seen leaving his school Monday afternoon.

Shaundrey Knight-Bryce left Darcel Avenue Public School between 3 and 3:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police Const. Fiona Thivierge said.

The boy has lived in Mississauga for less than a year. He previously lived in the Jane St.-Finch Ave. area.

"We're working with Toronto Police. We've got searches in both jurisdictions," Thivierge said. "We want Shaundrey to know if he's out there and following the coverage, we're not angry. He is not in trouble. We just want to know he's safe."

Police have set up a command post near the Westwood Mall on Goreway Drive, near Derry Rd. E.

Knight-Bryce is described as black, 4-foot-3, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, jeans, blue Nike shoes and a Blue Jays hat with fur on it. He may also be carrying a red Adidas gym bag.

I remember when I ran away from home, I was like 9. This creepy homeless dude just came up and offered to pay me to have sex with him. I've shown my parents respect ever since.

On another note, I remember trying to run away from home with my siblings when I was 10 cause our parents were fighting. We packed our bags and were about to leave when Dad came through the door like "I rented some movies!". We postponed the running away till never.

A missing Mississauga boy has been found safe in Toronto.

Shaundrey Knight-Bryce, 11, left his home on Goreway Drive, near Morning Star Drive, at 8:30 a.m. on Monday and headed to school.

He hadn’t been seen since leaving Darcel Avenue Senior Public School around 3:30 p.m.

He was found near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West on Tuesday and his grandparents were bringing him home.

Peel police had been going door to door in Mississauga, searching for any sign of Knight-Bryce.

He had been in Mississauga for a year, and used to live in the Jane-Finch area. Toronto police were searching that neighbourhood
