point of working out when you dont have enough food in your house

seriously we have 1 meal a day in my house and there isnt food anywhere. i dont have near enough calories to put back in my body after working out.

can you even gain?

Everything goes in cycles. Keep your head in the game and you'll find a way out.

In the meantime, no, there's no possible way to gain muscle mass eating only once a day. That said, if I were unemployed, exercise would probably be my only source of stress relief, so I'd advise I guess stick with pushups and situps or if you have access to a pool swim some laps or something till you get back on your feet.

Sardines, Tuna, Peanuts, Beans, eggs are all cheap and have high amounts of protein. I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. There is no shame on getting help. go to the local public assistance office.
Hunger is no joke and can lead to serious health risks including dementia. How you going to be successful in a job interview when your stomach is growling and you in a shytty mood cause you haven't eaten shyt in almost a day.

You got 2 choices. You can let this current struggle destroy you. Or you can change the way you approach things. remember the definition of insanity and build and become a better person. , change is necessary for success.
