I really like Kung Fu films, but in this thread I'm looking for more movies like Bio Zombie (that I watched yesterday). Pretty much I like a nice mixture of sex (or suggested sex) and comedy:

I'm fine with straight Chinese audio with subtitles, or dubbed.

I like alot of Stephen Chow films like God of Cookery, Tricky Master, etc. That kind of quirky take on movies.

These movies are not necessarily "good", but alot of them have "no filter" by today's standards and I like seeing the cultural differences. The differences is what I find humor in.

Appreciate the suggestions.

I'll try to watch that FullTime Killer sometime this month or early August so that I don't forget about it.

Kung Fu movies (like Ip Man) are dead ass the best thing popping in China, that or the Hardboiled type action flicks. I tried to watch a Wu Xia flick the other day (Chinese Fantasy) and them shyts is ass and sus as fukk. Korea and Japan got better ideas

Disappointing because I got into watching foreign movies with Chinese cinema. I don't know what happened to them their older wuxia all the way down to the early 2000s were hardbody. They also had gangster epics out the ass.

And you ain't lying. I tried to give a few of the recent Netflix joints a chance but it's a bunch of sissy dandy stuff going on :dame:

Hong Kong cinema, not Chinese cinema!
When China took over, the film industry turned boring, no diss to benny chan, donnie yen.. But post 2000 not many greats were churned out in previous decades.

OP here, I agree that Japanese and Korean films are much better than Chinese flicks. I'm open to learning more about these types of films regardless of the country of origin.

Back to the Chinese films though, when I was watching the old Stephen Chow films like Tricky Master, God of Gamblers, etc. it's not that those films are "good" by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like that they are unapologetically crass and don't really have a filter. The fact that I don't understand Chinese, and I get to read the crazy sexist, homophobic, sometimes racist subtitles adds an element of comedy to it. Throw in some good looking girls and special effects, and I'm easily entertained.

Here's another good one from the non-martial arts genre (I like this one much better than the one I posted in the OP):

"3 Days of a Blind Girl"
(Trailer with no dubbing or subtitles)

Here's more of a description of "3 Days of a Blind Girl", but if you want to avoid spoilers, just find yourself a copy online somewhere with subtitles and watch it. I recommend it.

Ebola syndrome.

My bad for not showing this post love before. I just checked and I saw that the main creepy actor Anthony Wong, from the movie I posted today, is also in the movie you mentioned here.

edit:

I didn't watch it yet, but I found a low quality copy on YouTube. I'll probably watch it there and if I like it enough, I'll look for a higher quality copy.
