Why didn't you quote this one @The Mad Titan ?

People not realizing what the weak Yen means for that company and others in Japan.

Today the $100 USD is worth ¥147.20 (removed extra digits to avoid confusion).

Last year this time it was worth ¥114.11

Japan not raising interest rates is going to kill their people. That joint going to be at ¥160.20 come the new year.

Which is right in line with why SF6 is reusing models, becoming a 2K MyCity clone. Square Enix saying they want to compete in the global market and not Japan.

Japanese people are being buried in their own home. Better hike them rates.

Xbots are too quick to make a thread than to read the room. Those price increases Sony put out all had one thing in common. The value of the dollar in those countries were decreased. We operate with the American dollar as the gold standard, Canadian dollar has been shuffling for damn near a decade now.

A brand new game is $100 over here. Currency exchange is correct, nothing to do with Sony trying to extort our pockets. Use a calculator and do the maths.

"Sony said its decline in gaming profits was due to an increase in game development and acquisition costs (including its purchase of Bungie), as well as a negative impact of foreign exchange rates reflecting a high ratio of USD costs."
