Playstation August Event - OT (August 6th) (PS4/VR Event)

Now that M$ () had its 'event', time to look forward to Sony's next showcase, this one is first or second week of August according to Jeff Grubb.

What do ya'll think we are going to see?

• More hardware information
• BC information?
• Price?
• Launch date?
• Pre-order date? (got to be)
• PS Now/next gen feature information?

Do you reckon its going to be a small or big event? Think this event along with an event just before launch will be medium sized rather than just massive blow-outs.

For games:

• Silent Hill (sounds like bullshyt)
• God of War 2 teaser (no need for this after M$ garbage)
• New San Diego studio With Uncharted 5? (heavily rumoured)
• Gameplay for Spiderman, Demon Souls, Returnal etc (guaranteed)
• The Last Of Us: Factions announcement/gameplay (guaranteed imo)

Think we'll get pre-order date with price/launch date, launch day line up and lots of gameplay but maybe no new games. Sony doesn't need to go all out now, they can keep a few bullets in the chamber.

It's probably gonna be something light. I'm not expecting any big announcements.

• Show the PS5 UI and other new features
• More details on Backwards Compatibility and free upgrades on PS4 games
• Brand new PSNow upgrade
• Gameplay videos of all the new announced games from last month
  
• New game announcements we will be seeing in 2022 like God of War 2, etc

I’m not expecting a lot of big game announcements. Maybe one or two..They showed enough last time for launch and early launch window. This should be more about the console price, release date and preorder. Can’t wait.

I dont think it will be a big showcase since it will be a state of play
and those usually go for 30 min the longest. I expect 1-2 new game
announcement. The focus will be mostly on the games launching with
the PS5 and price/release-date.
