Playstation 2 appreciation thread

Yesterday Sony stopped producing Playstation 2, ceased support and overall stopped being interested in their console. It gave me a lot of fun! I played plenty of brilliant games on it and probably will still play some in the future, although my main is PS3. Salute to the most successful console ever!

I'm an X-box head turned PC head, but PS2 had last generation on lock. I kind of wish I didn't sell off my PS2, but that's what emulators are for.

GOAT system with the GOAT library.....to this day it still hurts my soul that the new PS3 models don't support backwards compatibility for PS2 games

Socum to Socom 3 was gaming perfection, never will team work based games equal those greats, the only game where i played it over 20 hours straight, the demo wars on there lasting up to 25 rounds sometimes, the trash talking on convoy when i was co-leader of TM vs DPG,BPG AND SF was legendary, the clan wars that lasted for weeks not days, the pass word only rooms, to the best system of all time.
