They see me trolling, they hating.....
I know a few cats who can literally sit and play one or two games 24/7 and brag about being masters at them, I ain't gonna say no names but you know who you are......its easy to be a boss at a game when it's the only thing u play dun dun.

:beli:

my 7 year old nephew is the same, all he wants to play is San Andreas over and over again, nothing else (I know I shouldn't be letting him play that but it keeps him quiet so :ehh: )

However, I just can't do that shyt tho, I HAVE to switch games up or else I go crazy, I just don't like playing things out. I'd rather keep things fresh for as long as possible. I'm currently playing Max Payne 3, Mass Effect 3 and Uncharted 3 (Crushing difficulty run through) simultaneously and I constantly find myself playing one game like it's the other and it's causing me alot of virtual lives. I'm playing UC3 and I emptied out my clip on this arab nikka, I press square to reload and nothing fukking happens.....
(Thank u Max Payne) :beli: and because of that split second of pressing the wrong button a nikka became deceased. In Mass Effect I'm pressing the D pad to switch guns (Thanks Uncharted) :beli: and wondering why I'm using up my limited number of shields and weapon packs.

Same shyt happens with Battlefield 3.... I sometimes forget I'm playing BF3 and I might go to knife lunge a nikka like I'd do in MW3 only to get gunned down and clapped up. Knives are basically useless in BF3 unless you're creeping up on someone unnoticed. They ain't beastly like they are in COD.......

:beli:

I won't even discuss fighting games........its just too much shyt to remember per game to really be good at all of them simultaneously.

Does this ever happen to anyone else?

Games are way too complicated in this day and age that I find it hard to play more than one at once... and they all have different control schemes. One game it's square to jump. Another game it's L1+circle, etc. etc.

yeah i remember having Turok and Goldeneye on N64 around the same time and that would fukk me up because Turok had some really weird controls that were very specific to that game.

I like to sit on a game and get beastly at em. I also play as one character to truly learn them if it's a fighter. No one's seeing me in Halo Reach or SSF4 AE :mjpls:

I remember the day I copped Mortal Kombat (which was the day it dropped) There were already nikkas online with 700 matches

You have to have a rotation of games IMO.

Have 1 main fighting game, 1 or 2 main shooter, and 1 main adventure/action game.

With this balance, you'll get the most out of the games. If you just try to dabble with everything you'll just skim through most anyway.

Right now, I've been working on completing Arhkam City (great game), going to go hard on VF5, and for my shooters I go with Battlefield and Gears (occasionally)

Works out great for me.

The key is playing games that are drastically different from one another gameplay wise so when you get to playing it, the controls come right back to you.

Some of my friends use that as an excuse to keep playin' the same shyt all the time. If it ain't Halo or NBA 2K, they ain't fukkin' wit it :scusthov:

I'd stop playin' games altogether if I limited myself like that. There's too much piff out here to only be playin' a couple joints :what:

The key to playin' multiple games at the same time is rockin' different genres. Then the controls won't conflict as much when you jump from one game to another.

The most I can have in rotation is three. TPS, racin', and action/adventure for example.

The worst is when the control scheme are similar, but slightly different. I remember trying to play COD on my friend's PS3 after playing it for years on the Xbox. Many grenades were thrown...
