We all have 'em.

In a sick way, they make the game more interesting/exciting/thrilling/heartbreaking.

As far as sports go, at the root of this hate, in most cases, lies some appreciation or respect for these players because these are the players who have killed our teams, who have threatened the legacy of our favorite players, who have just gotten underneath our skin for some reason. And deep down inside, when we are doing our best to be neutral and objective about the predicament, we are forced to concede that there is something undeniably great about these players.

Let's give these sons-of-bytches some just due. :smugdraper: Here's a toast to these scumbags.

Top of my list right now: Kobe Bryant

As a Nuggets fan, Bean has been a thorn in my side for quite some time now. During the Melo-era, he stopped us from getting to the Finals in 2009 (:pacspit:) and swept us in the first round of 07-08. More recently, the Black Mamba led his Lakers to victory in a hard-fought 7-game-series in this year's playoffs (including a 43-point Game 5 performance where this nikka was clinically insane). We just can't beat these, bytches!! (Wait 'til next year, though :shaq:)

On top of this, I'm a Jordan guy. This nikka has patterned his game after MJ from the competitive streak to the fadeaways to the clutch shots to the Olympic beard to to the pump fakes to just the general way he carries himself on the court. :scusthov: His attempts to emulate His Airness are disgusting. Since Jordan, though, he may be the closest one. :manny: Hurts me to admit that the longer he plays and the longer he stays healthy, the more likely is the possibility that NBA records might be in jeopardy.

When this nikka fails/loses on that court, I'm like

Has done my gotdamn Broncos too damn dirty. So I don't care about your being drafted in the 6th round and going on to be one of the best QBs ever. Your 7 Pro Bowls, 2 1st-team All Pro awards, 5 SB appearances, 3 SB wins, 2 SB MVPs, and 2 regular season MVPs don't mean shyt to me. Only thing that matters to me is Eli Manning is >>>>>> 18-1, muthafukka. :pacspit:

Only good thing you've done for us is to embarrass us enough to the point where we had justification for pursuing Peyton Manning so hard.

Oh...and #7 is the best QB ever. Don't forget that.

In real life I hated no one, but as a fan I hated

Bird- great white hope
Jordan- b*stard
Kobe- until he proved himself worthy in the finals vs. Indiana
Shaq- for acting like a punk in Miami
Wade- for riding Shaq's testicles with the Kobe hate.
Lebron- I like seeing him sad but not anymore
Tim Thomas- ether vs. LA
A-Rod- until he became a Yankee
Pac Man- overrated too fast
Bret Favre- see Bird
Any Boston Celtic or Red Sawx or Patriot
