Players (or teams) you rooted against/hated that you eventually grew to respect or even like?

For me, I always rooted against Tom Brady, disqualifying his greatness as being a system QB...but the more and more I rooted against him the more I started realizing I was witnessing greatness and incredible clutch plays. Respect eventually turned into me liking TB12. I definitely rooted for him to get that ring without Beli.

In the early 2000s I was a T-Mac stan, so I was rooting against Mamba for a period...(always respected him), and I was living in Detroit so I def rooted for those 04 Pistons...but after getting further away from the rah rah aspect of sports and into the appreciating talent, Kobe became arguably my favorite player ever

Saban at Bama was another...eventually I just had to appreciate the greatness.
