Anybody else feel like the Rams are gonna be complete ass again this year?
Their roster is awful
Ramsey gone
Cooper Kupp already hurt
Terrible O Line
It's basically just Stafford (who's 35 and breaking down) and Aaron Donald and a bunch of junk
Without Kupp I think the Rams might be the worst offense in football.
Tutu Atwell & Van Jefferson as your WR1 & WR2? :picard:

What really intrigues me is that if they start out as badly as I expect them to (I think they start 2-6 BEST CASE scenario), I think AD will be made available to go full tank mode and I feel like that's a trade that's a potential SB ceiling raiser like Von Miller to the Rams was a couple years back.
I just wonder what team will make the big move

I have no idea if the money can work at all but I think the Steelers would be a strong landing spot. I'm really high on them this season and the idea of AD next to TJ Watt seems terrifying

AD should've retired instead of letting McVay convince him to return. He'd be immortalized as a Ram and still make HOF

Now he's going to be a ringchaser for a few years and bow out unremarkably. But hey he got some extra paper out of it :ehh:

If the Bengals wanna go for it, AD is the exact piece they need on the defense.

Cardinals are getting all the #1 pick hype but the Rams are right there with them. 73m in dead money has them starting a literal Shrine Bowl squad on defense, you don't put that product on the field when you genuinely intend on being competitive. If Stafford's contract didn't trigger huge guarantees in March he would've been traded too.

2023s about clearing the books and seeing if a few of the kids can pan out. Donald has a no-trade clause so the ball is in his court but teams are definitely gonna come calling when they're sitting on 1-2 wins in October. Pittsburgh is supposedly the only other team/city he would play for but I'd be surprised if he turned down a Cincy or Buffalo.

Rams are in rebuild mode, do they have picks in first round next year? I know they were giving them up left, right and centre for players before

1. Donald has a no trade clause
2. The Rams might have the most deceptive receiver room in the league. yes Cooper Kupp is hurt but Van Jefferson is a solid receiver . Tutu Atwell is a burner and Puka Nacua might be the sleeper receiver pick of the draft
3. The Rams defense will probably be ass
4. The Rams o line is mediocre but several draft picks/new guys such as Steve Avila look to be NFL ready. The line might not be a A squad this year but should be improved from last year.
5. All reports are indicating that Matthew Stafford is in the best shape he’s been in a long time. If the line can hold, he will be able to lead a competitive offense.
6. I think the Rams are at worse and 7 to 8 win team. I can’t see them as bad enough to get Caleb Williams nor do I think Caleb Williams will solve all the problems that the Rams have. As a Rams fan I’m hoping for us to be somewhat competitive and draft offensive and defensive linemen nxt year. And if we are a under .500 team in need of a quarterback, be bad enough to at least draft Michael Penix Junior as I think he’s an extremely under rated quarterback.
